Tarpon Springs was an FMBC-sanctioned regional competition. FMBC semi-finals are on November 23.

It is incredibly stupid, it forces a new mandatory graduation requirement onto you in your senior year if you do not score high enough in a specific area.

I see the point you're trying to make, but, aren't we always told that we should be able to express our opinion? When one person gets out of line, you automatically hate it? That just seems to contradict your main goal in school, give us the education to be able to make and establish our own opinion. These people have developed an opinion that may be unpopular, but isn't that the point? Keep your opinion despite the fact that not everyone agrees with you. I can see the argument that they shouldn't be doing this by disrespecting the student body. But this is the school we have that without being anonymous, there is basically a warrant out for you. Though they may be unorthodox, these people have started something that could lead to a better sense of community within the school. They may be circling around for the wrong reasons, it's something that could be beneficial to the school, if everyone could be closer together OUTSIDE of school, there would be less problems IN school.
Just my thoughts on the matter
